Splendid! I have an Award Nomination this time in the Artists In Music Awards in Los Angeles :

Would just like to thank you all for voting for me it really is much appreciated – Got to start thinking about Hollywood in November now as I’m nominated once again in the Hollywood Music and Media Awards in ‘Best Blues’ Category (the one that I won last year). It would be really great to win it again but either way just getting there two years running is pretty amazing.

thanks again everyone – all the best

I’m really happy to be playing with Brian Emerson on Bass and Steve Vine on Drums – we’ll be recording some more stuff soon so we’ll post some of the tracks out to everyone on the mailing list – some will be live versions of existing tracks from the album and others will be new songs.

Trevor Sewell already has a Hollywood Music and Media Award under his belt, and now he is hoping for a gong on home turf.

He has been shortlisted in the British Blues Awards, which take place on September 9 at the Newark Blues Festival, in Nottinghamshire.

Trevor is nominated in the category of Best Original Song for Hate Me for a Reason.

He is in good company, with international artists such as Walter Trout and Joe Bonnamasa also receiving nominations.

The songwriter said: “Winning in Hollywood was fantastic, but this is the one that I would really like to do well in as it is in this country.

“And it may hopefully help open some doors over here for me and my band.”
